The Robert A.M. Stern-Designed 250 West 81st Street Reveals First Full Rendering As Construction Approaches Halfway Mark

250 West 81st Street has revealed the first full exterior rendering (below) of the Robert A.M. Stern-designed Upper West Side condo. Construction is approaching the halfway mark and with the teams completing one floor per week. 250 West 81st Street will rise 18-stories and features 31-luxury condos encased in a brick and limestone facade. Units will start at $3.7 million for a 2-bedroom condo and range up to $15.75 million for the 5-bedroom penthouse. 250 West 81st Street is being developed by Alchemy Properties and Carlyle Group, who purchased the site for $51 million in 2016, and have an expected sell-out of $226 million. 250 West 81st Street will feature 6,000 SF of amenities including a fitness center, golf simulator, basketball court, a rooftop terrace and a professional music studio. There will also be 11,000 SF of retail on the ground level. Construction has just recently gone vertical is expected to be completed in 2019.
