CitizenM At 185 Bowery Now Complete & Open To Public

New York City’s newest CitizenM hotel, located at 185 Bowery on the Lower East Side, has wrapped up construction and is open to the public. The hotel, which rises 19-stories and 224’, is now the tallest modular hotel in the United States and in the world. The CitizenM hotel features 300 rooms with 100,000 SF of total development. The hotel was developed by CitizenM and Brack Capital Real Estate, and was designed by Concrete Architectural Associates with Stephen B. Jacobs Group, and DeSimone Consulting as the structural engineer. Polcom Modular designed the modular units which average around 150 SF. Amenities include a fitness center, ground floor cafe, cellar bar and lounge, and a rooftop bar and lounge named CloudM. The hotel also feature a display of artworks by 20 street artists throughout as part of the new Museum of Street Art (MOSA), curated by 5Pointz spokeswoman Marie Flageul.
