May 20, 2018

The Lewis, a sophisticated rental with a boutique feel and luxe interiors located at 411 West 35th Street, has surpassed 70% leased since launching leasing in January 2018. The project recently announced a partnership with with notable modern furniture & home décor company Room & Board to unveil the building’s collection of terrace residences. As part of the collaboration, Room & Board has stylishly outfitted one of the twelve terrace residences, a one bedroom featuring a spacious living/dining layout, northern views, and an impressive terrace that spans the length of the residence.

“We were so excited to collaborate with The Lewis and Douglas Elliman on their newest rental project.” said Lynn Carey, Visual Associate at Room & Board. “The elegant residences are the perfect fit for Room and Board’s modern, timeless furniture pieces."

“We are thrilled with how Room and Board’s furniture perfectly complements the polished design of our residences and look forward to future collaborations.” said Eli S. Weiss, Principal at West 35th SBXLVI LLC.

“The Lewis’ high design is the perfect backdrop for Room and Board’s stylish furnishings.” said JR Sena, Senior Marketing Director at Douglas Elliman Development Marketing. “When modeling residences, we are mindful of designing for the way people live, and Room & Board’s team did just that, while maintaining an elevated level of sophistication.”

The Lewis is being developed by West 35th Street SBXLVI, LLC a joint venture affiliate of Joy Construction and MADDD Equities with interiors designed by renowned INC Architecture & Design. The development was named in honor of successful entrepreneur and philanthropist Lewis Katz and was awarded New York City's Green Property Certification. The Lewis features 186 rental units offered in studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom layouts. Each residence features sleek fixtures and finishes, including wide-plank oak hardwood flooring, custom Italian cabinetry, silk black Caesarstone countertops, paneled dishwashers and Liebherr refrigerators, full height tiled bathrooms, deep soaking tubs, walk-in showers in select residences, ornate black metal fixtures, Bosch washer/dryer, ample closet space, and soundproof double pane windows with retractable solar shades. Select residences also offer private terraces. Amenities include a 24-hour doorman and concierge; a luxurious resident lounge and unique alcove lounges on each of the building’s twelve floors; landscaped terrace; cardio and weight training rooms; bicycle storage; and a decadent rooftop terrace with sunbeds, casual seating and dining area with grills.
