TANKHOUSE’s SO-IL-Designed Condominium 450 Warren Tops Off In Brooklyn

TANKHOUSE’s SO-IL-Designed Condominium 450 Warren Tops Off In Brooklyn

October 15, 2020

450 Warren has just topped out in Gowanus, Brooklyn with sales launching next year. This residential building developed by TANKHOUSE will attract buyers looking for the perfect work-from-home setup, featuring 18 condominiums all with private outdoor space. The boutique condominium is nestled between Bond and Nevins streets has officially topped out at five stories and 55 feet tall. It is also designed by Brooklyn based architecture firm SO-IL, known for award-wining installations, museums and private homes.

“450 Warren rediscovers essential qualities in new development living spaces, with a focus on light and air, creating dynamic shared spaces and residences with private outdoor space and multiple exposures,” said Sam Alison-Mayne and Sebastian Mendez, partners at TANKHOUSE. “We look forward to revealing more as the project progresses.”

“450 Warren gave us the opportunity to explore the question: How do we want to inhabit the city today? The project proposes a new way of living. Light-filled and connected to our community,” said Florian Idenburg, partner and co-founder at architecture firm SO–IL. “This project is very unique to us; our first multifamily project in the city.”

Not only does the condominium offer private outdoor space for residents, but also private entrances to allow fresh air to circulate and plenty of natural light to stream in. There is also parking in the building, extensive communal outdoor space, and 4,000 sq.ft. of retail space on the ground floor. 450 Warren is located near the waterfront of Brooklyn, close to popular restaurants, parks, shopping and just two blocks from the Bergen Street F and G trains.

“450 Warren perfectly epitomizes what buyers are looking for today, as homes with layouts featuring gracious living environments and significant indoor-outdoor space continue to grow in popularity. We have been seeing a wave of buyers moving to Brooklyn from other parts of the city and country to take advantage of the amazing culture, arts and diversity that thrive here,” said Behzad Amiri of The Corcoran Group. “450 Warren is a special project that from the beginning was conceived and thought about differently for our current times and we look forward to launching sales next year.”

450 Warren is exclusively listed with Behzad Amiri with Corcoran New Development with construction by KSK Construction.
