UPPER WEST SIDE BOUTIQUE CONDO MIXES HISTORIC WITH CONTEMPORARY

Upper West Side Boutique Condo Mixes Historic With Contemporary

October 22, 2020

350 West 71st Street on the Upper West Side is already 80% sold. This boutique condominium merges two historic pre-war buildings into a contemporary masterpiece. Only 8 residences are left available for purchase due to the high demand and rarity of boutique buildings in the area. 350 West 71st Street is located in the West End Collegiate Historic district between West End Avenue and Riverside Boulevard. This location is perfect in the current environment because it is a short walk from Central Park, Riverside Park and the Museum of National History.

“350 West 71st Street is a hidden gem that buyers discovered and fell in love with. With only a few homes remaining, we are thrilled with the success and sales velocity this project has experienced even during this unprecedented time and we anticipate selling out soon,” said David L. Berger, Partner at DNA Development along with Alexander J.A. Sachs. “The recent sales milestone exemplifies the amazing product we are offering here, which includes boutique living and spacious layouts that offer flexibility for the changing world, all of which are especially valuable in today’s market.”

DXA Studio designed this condo to include many amenities, a unique feature for pre-war boutique buildings in New York. Amenities include a bespoke library, fitness center, Peloton cycling equipment and a children’s playroom. The rooftop terrace has grills and is decorated with landscaping surrounded by the historic pre-war architecture.

“A notable trend regarding sales at 350 W 71st Street is how many real estate professionals love this building and have purchased units,” said Jeffrey Stockwell of Compass, the exclusive sales and marketing firm for the building. "Brokers tend to know good value. We’ve sold four residences to both real estate industry executives and brokers, which proves this building is both a solid investment and offers beautiful homes."

In the last few months some of the most expensive units in the building have closed. Pricing is available starting at $1.65 million for a two-bedroom and up to about $5 million for a three-bedroom penthouse. Penthouses also include private outdoor space with grills. Compass Development is the exclusive sales and marketing firm for the building.
