360 Central Park West, CetraRuddy's Update Of The Historic Rosario Candela-Design On The Upper West Side, Commences Closings

360 Central Park West, CetraRuddy's Reimagine Of The Historic Rosario Candela-Design On The Upper West Side, Commences Closings

January 24, 2018

360 Central Park West, a storied residential building in Manhattan’s Upper West Side neighborhood with ties to Old New York grandeur has commenced closings and will begin welcoming its first residents in the coming days. 360 Central Park West was originally designed by one of New York City’s most notable architects, Rosario Candela. The building is being converted into classically designed condominiums by Argo Real Estate and award-winning architecture firm CetraRuddy Architects who took special care to honor 360 Central Park West’s original design and preserve its rich history. The team meticulously restored the building’s limestone and brick façade, a Candela signature, as well as incorporated prewar details. To modernize the interiors and update the residences, floor plans were expanded and an additional 34 windows were installed to create an abundance of natural light as well as ensure breathtaking Central Park views. The resulting structure is one that possesses the feel of Old New York, yet appeals to the 21st century buyer.

“360 Central Park West is an iconic New York building and a project we’ve been excited about since first beginning to work with it,” said Mark Moskowitz, President of Argo Real Estate, the building’s developer. “We’re really enjoying watching the condominium come to life and welcoming its first residents, as well as witnessing this next phase of the building’s long history. We look forward to the continued success of 360 Central Park West.”

Situated on Central Park, 360 Central Park West offers buyers a rare opportunity to purchase a condominium on one of the Manhattan's most coveted and historic streets. 360 Central Park West stands 17 stories tall and is comprised of one- to four-bedroom homes designed to accentuate open park and city views. Residences are outfitted with expansive living rooms perfect for entertaining and featuring details such as five-inch solid oak herringbone floors and floor-to-ceiling windows. Spacious kitchens with calacatta caldia marble counters and backsplash, Miele appliances and separate wine refrigerators exemplify the level of luxury in the home. Master bathrooms include floor-to-ceiling full-height stone slab walls and polished bianco namiba custom mosaic floors. Amenities include a 24/7 attended lobby, children’s playroom, state-of-the-art fitness center, pet grooming station, private storage, secure bike storage and an on-site resident manager. Pricing for the remaining available residences begins at $2.995 million. Stribling Marketing Associates is the exclusive sales and marketing team for the building.
