Marin Architects Reveals New Renderings For 2050 Amsterdam Avenue In Washington Heights

Marin Architects has revealed new renderings of their plan to expand and convert 2050 Amsterdam Avenue in Washington Heights, which was originally built in 1911. The building was first developed by Frank W. Woolworth and is located at the intersection of Amsterdam Avenue, St. Nichols Avenue and 162nd Street. The expansion would convert the building from commercial to mixed-use and increase the buildings’ height from 2 to 7 stories with 149,000 SF of total development. A residential component is expected. The developer, timeline and obtained permits have not yet been made public.
