Penthouse At 443 Greenwich Street Asking $58 Million Goes Under Contract

Penthouse At 443 Greenwich Street Asking $58 Million Goes Under Contract

April 16, 2018

Home to stars such as Jake Gyllenhaal, Meg Ryan, Harry Styles and Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, 443 Greenwich is no stranger to being in the news. Now, a penthouse asking $58 million has gone under contract at the "paparazzi proof" building, depending on the closing price it could be the most expensive apartment ever sold in Downtown. The current record is held by a 2014 sale of one of the penthouses at Walker Tower which sold for $50.9 million and other units in the running were a $47 million closing at 56 Leonard and a $44 million closing at 443 Greenwich.

The residence reportedly under contract is a 5 bedroom penthouse spread over 8,569 SF. The unit has its own private elevator entrance, a 41' long living room, a huge outdoor terrace, a private pool and 2 parking spots. 443 Greenwich was originally built in 1905 and used as a book bindery before undergoing a luxury condo conversion by Metro Loft Management and was completed in May 2016.
