Time Out, the British-based company that is behind the Time Out series of magazines as well as the Time Out Market Lisbon and Time Out Market Miami, has announced that they will be opening a food hall on the Dumbo waterfront later this year. The food hall is expected to feature over 21,000 SF of retail space including 20 restaurants and 3 bars which will be hand selected by Time Out New York's editors. The space will offers seating for 520 spread both indoors and outdoors along with an outdoor rooftop with views of the Manhattan skyline. Time Out Market New York will be located on the East River in Empire Stores at 55 Walter Street in Dumbo and is expected to open in late 2018. Empire Stores was developed out of 7 repurposed warehouses and currently features West Elm as the anchor as well as Brooklyn's Historical Society Museum.
