SL Green Realty and Giorgio Armani Corp. have filed permits to redevelop Giorgio Armani’s flagship store with a boutique luxury condo designed by COOKFOX Architects with interiors by Armani/Casa at 760 Madison Avenue. Demolition permits for the existing Giorgio Armani flagship store have not yet been pulled. The redevelopment will feature 97,000 SF of total development, rising 13-stories, with Armani’s new flagship boutique in addition to 19 luxury condominiums. 19,387 SF of the new development will be dedicated to commercial space and 66,811 SF to residential with an average condo size of 3,516 SF. Construction is expected to begin in 2020 and will be completed in 2023. Giorgio Armani himself plans to make this building his personal New York residence.
