111 West 57th Street Finally Reveals Brand New Interior

111 West 57th Street Finally Reveals Brand New Interior

October 20, 2020

Brand new imagery of 111 West 57th Street is finally revealed after much anticipation. The new interior is inspired by many historic New York landmarks. All residents enter through the famous Steinway Hall before ascending the 1,428 foot tall construction tower.

The new lobby is spectacular, decorated with 14-foot tall palms and urns upon a gold finished base manufactured by Lasvit and reminiscent to the Gilded Age. John Opella created the whimsical gold and silver leaf mural that depicts elephants breaking out of the Central Park Zoo. The lobby floors are also made from the original Steinway Hall grain wood flooring. Upon entering the Lobby you will also notice the 18th Century tapestries hanging in each corner to frame the magnificent Steinway & Sons Piano. New images also reveal the private porte-cochère on 58th Street featuring a 2-story high ceiling with hand-blown glass chandeliers extending in the air.

111 West 57th Street is originally designed by Warren & Wetmore, architecture by SHoP Architects and interior architecture by Studio Sofield. Residents range from $16 million to $66 million.
