Many Believe New York Is Dead But South Harlem Is Having A Moment At 300 West

Many Believe New York Is Dead But South Harlem Is Having A Moment At 300 West

October 19, 2020

South Harlem’s newest condominium 300 West is achieving sales success regardless of the tough market. This condominium has a wait list of over 700 registrants, and in less than two months has more than 20 contracts out on apartments with closings slated for the end of this year. 300 West is attracting buyers due to the attainable pricing for a full amenity building complete with a 3,000 square foot landscaped rooftop. The building is also conveniently located just steps away from Central Park. 300 West is developed by Bespoke Living, exteriors are designed by Issac & Stern Architects with interiors designed by Paris Forino.

“We wanted to offer buyers at 300 West something truly unique and unlike anything else available in this thriving and historic neighborhood, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome residents in less than four months,” said Rachel Medalie, Principal at Happy Living Development, the firm behind the building, and Sales Director for DE. “The response has been overwhelming and it’s incredibly gratifying to see such enthusiasm for our project. Each unit purchased at 300 West has been sold for the original asking price.”

Not only are buyers attracted to 300 West for its close proximity to central park, but the location is just steps away from some of the cities best schools, local shopping and food markets. Commuting downtown is also easy with A, C, B and D subway lines just a few blocks away.

"Buyers and brokers are recognizing the amazing value at 300 West and are capitalizing on low interest rates, favorable lending markets and the building’s attainable pricing,” said Karen Mansour, Executive Vice President at Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, the exclusive sales and marketing firm for 300 West. “Residents will be able to move into a brand new full-service home by the end of the year that has been designed by an amazing team, is complete with an expansive amenities package that includes an indoor pool and multiple outdoor spaces and is nearby some of the city’s most celebrated educational, dining, cultural and entertainment institutions.”

300 West offers a wide range of amenities for its residents to enjoy across multiple floors. Fitness amenities include a health and wellness club with the neighborhoods first and only indoor pool. Other amenities include a residents’ lounge, indoor open kitchen, library and a beautiful landscaped courtyard and rooftop terrace.

The 15-story condominium is located the corner of West 122nd Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard. Prices range from $499,000 for a studio and up to $3.4 million for a four-bedroom. Exclusive sales and marketing by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing.
