Demolition Underway At Site Of Sodesco's Billionaires' Row Tower Designed By OMA Architects

January 22, 2025

Demolition is underway on Billionaires’ Row at at 41-47 West 57th Street in Midtown, Manhattan for Sodesco’s new 63-story mixed-use supertall skyscraper designed by OMA Architects. The 1,100-foot tower will feature 119 luxury condominium units averaging 1,992 square feet, a 158-room hotel, and a 10,212-square-foot restaurant. The hotel is planned to occupy floors two through 20, totaling 205,100 square feet, with the residential component situated above. The prime location of the property between Fifth and Sixth Avenues with frontage on West 57th and West 58th Streets adds to its appeal.

In a mutually beneficial agreement, Sedesco secured a 20% increase in the scope of the skyscraper in exchange for enhancing the nearby 57th Street subway station along Sixth Avenue. This includes the construction of two ADA-compliant elevators as part of the Zoning For Accessibility program.
