The West Village's Greenwich Lane mega-development is now complete after replacing the St. Vincent's Hospital with 5 residential buildings and 5 townhouses. Developed by Global Holdings and The Rudin family, the 97% sold Greenwich Lane features 200 residential units and 5 townhouses, of which only 6 condos and 1 townhouse are left. The project was designed by FXFOWLE and is LEED-Certified, revitalizing a full city block between 11th and 12th Street and 7th Avenue with a mix of sustainable, efficient new construction with historical restoration. with interiors by Thomas O'Brien and landscaping by M. Paul Friedberg & Partners to emulate  the "classic estate gardens and traditional village greens." Amenities include private gardens with limestone benches and reflecting pools, a fitness center, yoga studio, spa with treatment rooms, 25-meter indoor pool with hot tub, golf simulator, parking, children's play area, and 24-hour attended lobby. Across the street from Greenwich Lane, the developers have built and donated to the city a public park with the New York City AIDS Memorial. Sales first launched in 2013 and notable buyers include Jon Bon Jovi and Michael Kors.
