Get A First Look At The Amenities at HFZ's Workshop/APD-Designed 88&90 Lexington

April 19, 2018

HFZ Capital has revealed a first look at the well-appointed amenities at 88&90 Lexington, their condo conversion project that blends two distinct buildings from two different architectural eras into one seamless residential building. The conversion is being led by Workshop/APD, the acclaimed architecture firm known for contemporary hospitality and residential projects such as The Printing House. The two buildings are connected by a bright, expansive lobby above ground and over 8,000 SF of newly added amenities underground which create modern communal spaces that tie both buildings together.

Workshop gutted out the basements of both buildings, shoehorning in an L-shaped swimming pool and hot tub in a previously vacant space, and completely redesigning the underground space, which alone required relocating major mechanical equipment. In addition to the pool, Workshop added a screening room, gym with private yoga studio, resident’s lounge with catering kitchen, media center and game tables, a children’s playroom into the underground space.

The two buildings previously served much different purposes, one being a rental building and the other office space before being reimagined by Workshop/APD. The firm saw the two as a blank canvas, restoring the pre-war façade of 88 Lexington while giving 90 Lexington, the modern post-war half, a “face lift," all matched with classic interiors with a modern touch.

88&90 Lexington is over 65% sold with sales being exclusively overseen by Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group.
